Developed by Epidemic co-founder DRx Romanelli,  the cultural collaboration series “BRxTN” launched at the newly renovated, iconic Brixton Market Village in London.  With the goal of opening up discussions around culture, community and art, DRx teamed up with Binki Taylor, a partner of The Brixton Project and one of the very first business owners in Brixton Village, for its inaugural exhibition called “CARDBOARD SHOP,” which featured works by artists Cali Thornhill DeWitt and Peter Sutherland.  The local Caribbean community was the main inspiration behind the project and their heritage can be felt pulsing throughout the whole marketplace.  The installation had a raw grittiness to it. It represented sustainability and bringing together the energy from the past while looking forward to the future.

In collaboration with Hondo Enterprises, we will also launch a full-functioning, state-of-the-art music recording studio above the gallery space that will engage talent from the local community and allow them to build a positive dialogue that will reverberate through the market.
